We've already established, pretty definitively, that brunch is the worst. But that doesn't mean we don't eat it from time to time (confession: we get hangovers, too). And when we do, one of the best parts of the experience is the people-watching—a restaurant at brunch is it's own microcosm of broken dreams, college reunions, OCD omelette ordering, and half-hearted boozing.

In other words, brunch is a great place to sleepily judge other people between bites of blueberry pancakes. And the best way to learn about your fellow diners is to look at what's on their plates.
