It’s no secret that we spend a lot of timing thinking about rap music and food here—how rappers like to eat, where Jay-Z and Beyonce go for date night, how music can shape food, and everything in between. Yet despite the flurry of overlapping influences that unite these two worlds, it’s rare that you spot rappers and chefs palling around.

Celeb chefs and actors seem to get along. Gwyneth Paltrow and Mario Batali are BFF, and Stanley Tucci hangs with Eric Ripert. But it’s only on that rare special occasion, when the moon is just right, that you might spot Hov with Tom Colicchio, or Rick Ross kicking it with Marcus Samuelsson. Photographic evidence of these moments is harder to find than you’d expect, but we did some digging to prove that they do in fact exist.
