One of the best parts about being a kid is the constant supply of popsicles in the freezer. And the best part of those popsicles was the terrible joke printed on the wooden stick.

Only about half the punchline was printed on the stick, so you were left wondering about the existential possibilities of the joke.

Portland’s ad agency Wieden + Kennedy has taken that mentality one step further with their Schadenfreezer popsicles. Printed on the sticks are the darkest jokes you’ll read today.

Schadenfreezer is a spin on the German word schadenfreude, which is the name for the pleasure we take in seeing the misfortune of others. Ever laughed when someone else tripped? That’s schadenfreude right there.

Although they’re not shaped like penises, Scadenfreezers are still an edgy take on a classic.
