Our 5 Favorite Raw Bars in NYC

From oyster institutions to neighborhood beer bars, here are the best places to get your seafood fix in NYC.

One of life's greatest indulgences is kicking back with a platter of oysters on the half shell and a cold beer or cocktail. Thankfully, we live in a city packed with excellent oyster happy hours, raw bars, and seafood towers.

These days, it's de rigeur for any hot new restaurant to have at least a few varieties of raw oysters on the menu, if not a whole gleaming raw bar at the ready. Here are our picks for the best places to eat oysters and other raw-bar specialties NYC.
