Don’t try to get away with anything at Chiba Sushi in Victoria, British Columbia. Their chef won’t tolerate your shenanigans.

After spending $64 on sushi at lunch last Friday, a Chiba Sushi customer tried to slip out of the restaurant. Head chef Ivan Eng chased the man down with his sushi knife in hand. He ran after the customer from Gorge Road East to Manchester Road, yelling for someone to call the police. According to the Vancouver Sun, the culprit is a well known offender in the area, and had threatened to fight Eng in the past.

The Sun reports that Eng is “happy police caught the man and trusts he won’t come in for sushi again.” We doubt he’ll be back after being threatened with a knife.
