The news broke when Randy Clemens, author of The Sriracha Cookbook, posted a very special email on his blog. The email was from none other than David Tran.

Dear Sriracha Friends:

After many months of transitioning from Rosemead and testing our new equipment, we are pleased to announce that we are now ready to invite visitors to our new building in Irwindale. Therefore, if you are interested in seeing how our Sriracha is made and how delicious it smells, we would cordially like to invite you, at your convenience, to see our facility during our regular office visiting hours . . . We look forward to seeing you.

Best regards,

HUY FONG FOODS, INC.

After years without marketing his product, it appears that Tran has decided to take a Willy Wonka approach to his factory. Perhaps it’s time to earn Sriracha some good press, after residents near Tran’s old factory demanded he close up shop.

If we were in California, we would already be in line, most likely doing the Sriracha chicken dance.
