Smorgasburg is Back With New Digs and More Vendors

For the first time in months, New Yorkers are hitting the street sans jackets and boots. What the warm weather really signals is the return of Smorgasburg on the Williamsburg waterfront—a goldmine of weekend grub from the city’s favorite restaurants and vendors. The outdoor food-flea resumes its course on Saturday, April 6th at a new location North of its former home. The new digs at East River State Park at Kent Ave and North 7th Street will allow for 15–20 more vendors to join the ranks, meaning a 110–115 food stalls total every weekend. Basically that translates to more awesome food options for stuffing your face.

Peep a list of vendors and what they hope to be serving waterside in a week, and get the full list at the Smorgasburg site:

Baohaus: congee
Brooklyn Wok Shop: soup dumplings
Kyotofu: fresh tofu
Daal House: Kerala- style legumes
Deji’s: Korean pub food and foie gras beignets
NYShuk: handrolled couscous
Scharf & Zoyer’s: noodle-kugel sandwiches and other Jewish dairy cuisine
