Several varieties of Hot Pockets, including the Philly Steak and Cheese varieties, were pulled from supermarket shelves just this week. Some of the meat contained in the Hot Pockets could have come from “diseased and unsound animals,” according to a news release from the USDA.
The USDA announced a recall of Rancho Feeding Corporation meat products, including Hot Pockets, because they were produced without all required inspections.
Twitter has nearly fallen over itself in reaction to the Hot Pockets recall, wondering if there ever was non-diseased meat in the frozen foods snack in the first place.
Hot Pockets better not mess up their ratio of pigeon anus to possum livers tho. Can’t improve on perfection.
