Questlove is a lot of things—Roots drummer, in-demand DJ, pro-wrestling fan, to name but a few. He also happens to be one of the least annoying celebrity “foodies” around, which has led him into some pretty cool opportunities of late. He had a fried-chicken cookoff against David Chang on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, deejayed an event during the NYC Wine & Food festival, and launched a catering startup called Quest Loves Food.

He’s also a pretty ace Instagrammer, documenting his globe-trotting food adventures alongside concerts, festivals, and other star-studded events. Last week, he even convinced Jiro Ono—the subject of the documentary Jiro Dreams of Sushi—to let him take photos of his meal at his three-Michelin star sushi restaurant in Tokyo. If you’re not following him already, here’s a peek into what you’re missing.
