The kind of people willing to spend 22 bucks on a comprehensive infographic of all things cheese-related probably don’t need a reminder that brie is softer than Parmesan, but the Charted Cheese Wheel is designed so well it just might be worth it. The chart, available for purchase here, is pretty much what it sounds like: more than sixty cheeses, divided into cow’s, sheep’s, goat’s, and buffalo’s, then sorted by their relative texture. We imagine the taste-testing required to figure out whether gorgonzola’s actually closer to semi-soft than marscapone must have been a blast.
