Yesterday, Cherry Bombe magazine proved girls rule the world—as well as the kitchen.

The year-old, biannual magazine emphasizes the connections between culinary prowess and style. From the very beginning, Cherry Bombe attracted the big players—including supermodel Karlie Kloss, who licked cookie dough from her fingers for the front cover of the debut issue.

Cherry Bombe hosted its first “Jubilee” conference on Sunday, a gathering of women in food that took place at The High Line Hotel in NYC. Speakers ranged from chef April Bloomfield to former New York Times critic Ruth Reichl to Momofuku Milk Bar’s Christina Tosi, and the event attracted a powerhouse crowd of women.

Although tickets to Jubilee sold out in just a few days, Twitter allowed the rest of us who did not attend the conference to eavesdrop on the wit and wisdom of the panelists.
