Ohio Airport Gets Gourmet Ice Cream Vending Machines

Jeni's Splendid Ice Cream creates a new way of sharing their delicious ice cream.

Port Columbus International Airport is not the trend capitol of Ohio, but it is seeing some exciting new developments. The airport recently supported hometown business Jeni’s Splendid Ice Creams by installing ice cream vending machines.

Each machine stocks 12 different flavors (6 cups, 6 sandwiches). The machines currently dispense creamy sweet happiness in Concourses A and B, with a new addition coming to Concourse C soon.

An individual cup will cost you $5, but that’s a whole lot better than a latte at Starbucks, and it’s the same price. If you’re craving more Jeni’s, find a store in Ohio, Tennessee, Illinois, or Georgia. All you suckers on the coasts are just going to have to get your pints of Jeni’s from a grocery store.

Watch the Vine above to see the vending machine in action.
