Year in Pictures: Liz Barclay’s Best Food Photos of 2013

First We Feast's tireless photographer shares her personal favorites from the year.

First We Feast resident photographer Liz Barclay spends her time sliding in and out of restaurant kitchens, markets, artisan shops, and special dinners, documenting the best of what NYC has to give. In other words, Liz gets around.

This year, she captured world-renowned chef Alex Atala's visit to NYC; she brought to focus 19 of the city's juiciest, meatiest burgers; and she documented the tallest and most impressive of New York's seafood towers. When she's not tending to her dream-job side gigs (like shooting Melissa Clark's brisket for the New York Times) and Instagramming up a storm, Liz brings our stories to life here on FWF with her gorgeous images.

Here, Barclay shares her favorite food photos of 2013—click through the gallery above to see them all.
