Sushi restaurants can be pretty intimidating, with little to no menu descriptions and endless varieties of fish to be devoured. Luckily, the Tumblr artist Slimu has come up with the most adorable, twee guide to raw fish that a sushi fan has ever dreamed up.

This guide to sushi types is seriously helpful, considering the numerous omakase-style (tasting menu) sushi spots that have cropped up in New York as of late. Now, when the chef places a piece of “hamachi” in front of you, you’ll know that means yellowtail.
