Food Chocolate Design is an exhibition and publication created by Italy’s Happycentro design studio featuring the work of various food makers, food bloggers, and designers. According to its website, Food Chocolate Design uses chocolate as a recurring theme—more specifically, the Sicilian-made artisan chocolate of Modica Sabadì. The publication includes sixteen recipes created by food bloggers—like whole-grain ravioli filled with parmesan and chicory, then glazed with chocolate—that have been interpreted into gorgeous images by sixteen Italian graphic designers.
In addition to the book, Happycentro held an exhibition called Taste, where top Italian food artisans displayed their products, including 32 posters and an awesome typographical treatment of the alphabet, with letters reimagined using different foods.
