Eat This Tumblr: Album Tacos

  • Nobody stains The Boss's T-shirt.
  • A brave Photoshopper taco'd the Wu Tang symbol.
  • All beef everything.
  • Johnny Cash set himself up for this one.
  • This is somehow less frightening than the original.
  • This one was just too easy.
  • Perfect use of a taco block-out.
  • Has Rick Ross ever looked so lovingly at anything? Maybe some Wing Stop.
  • Actually jealous of this album cover right now.
  • This explains everything.
  • The Beatles are loving this taco avalanche.
  • Prince is now performing taco mime.
  • This cover was made for a taco sketch.
  • Most intense use of Taco Bell sauce packets ever.
  • Of course all eyez are on you. You're throwing gang signs and holding a goddamn taco.
  • This is pure genius.
  • Iron and Wine's dog ghost thing looks so much happier now.
  • Somehow this taco makes The Game seem harder than when he's sitting on tires.
  • Did anyone else notice Britney's alien arms on this cover before the taco?

It’s no secret Aaron Brink and Steve Reidell of The Hood Internet enjoy mashing things up—from Cali Swag District & Toro Y Moi to Trinidad James & Madeon, these guys are the kings of mixing seemingly dissonant tracks—plus Photoshopping covers to match.

But in the past few years, the pair has taken to Tumblr to amass a different kind of Photoshop mashup: album covers and tacos, aka Album Tacos. Sure, you can imagine Billy Joel gazing into a taco on the cover of The Stranger, or Tupac holding onto a taco for All Eyez on Me. But what about Fergie’s head replaced with a Taco Bell-variety handheld on the cover of Elephunk, or Prince using a taco as an exfoliator on Parade? You’ll have to peep it to understand.
