Culinary student and legendary human being Bettina Banayan iced and served a cake while riding the NYC subway. Banayan says,
“New Yorkers aren’t very personable with each other. And we’re constantly in people’s private space, especially on the subway. I think it’s important to have some kind of community.”
The subway riders respond very well to the homemade layer cake—because, at the end of the day, who doesn’t love cake and really nice people that give away free food?
