Thanks, FoodBeast, for introducing us to Burger King Japan’s new ninja burger, though I’m sure our friendship will not be a healthy one. What make’s this burger so ninja-y? Our guess is the black bun, colored by bamboo charcoal that is said to impart a smoky smell. What’s not so ninja-y about it? We don’t know, maybe the enormous slab of bacon that droops over the sides like a pancake too big for its plate. Man, this is almost as weird as that toilet bowl cafe. Here’s some other stuff we loved today:

This pizza cocktail includes basil infused vodka and a foam made of parmesan and mozzarella. Would you drink it? [Slice]

Sean Brock makes chicken and dumplings with his mom, and it’s even more adorable than you would imagine. [YouTube]

Action Bronson can eat a lot of black truffles. [Instagram]

Gorgeous video of hand made chocolates, even better than Charlie and the Chocolate factory. [Serious Eats]

McDonald’s food transformed into haute cuisine. But how does it taste? [Foodiggity]
