Laying out the classifieds section of a newspaper is probably one of the least exciting design jobs, but maybe that’s just because people aren’t thinking outside the box.

Creative director Felipe Salazar designed this trick-of-the-eye ad for Corona Kitchen that uses nothing but newspaper-print columns to create the illusion of a three-dimensional kitchen, complete with an oven and a stove-top.

Who would have thought that someone would revolutionize one of the oldest forms of advertising in 2014?
