During Season 1 of Viceland’s Dead Set on Life, Matty Matheson established himself as one of the more exciting new voices in food and travel television, joining the ranks of Eddie Huang and Action Bronson. Tattooed, mustachioed, and hopelessly Canadian, Matheson’s “boisterously warm” personality took center-stage as he ate Longanisa sausages in Manila, went lobster fishing in Nova Scotia, and duck hunting in Saskatchewan.

Now, Matheson is back, with Season 2 of Dead Set on Life premiering on Viceland October 27. From a short, minute-long trailer released Tuesday, it appears the new season will contain a heavy dose of twerking, wrestling, dog sledding, and noodle-eating.

“Matty’s back for season two of Dead Set On Life and this time, he’s going international. He goes to Vietnam with Master Rang, visits the Arctic, and becomes a LARPer, all while sampling the food each culture has to offer,” a description for the trailer reads. “From $6 subs at gas stations to the most sought-after ingredients on the planet—Matty eats it all, with friends new and old.”

Let's just hope Matty doesn't hurt anyone with that sword.
