Troy Walker was cooking dinner for her church when she decided to look a bit closer at what she assumed was a burnt green bean. Upon further inspection, Walker discovered that the burnt green bean was not, in fact, a vegetable of any sort. It was the head of a small snake. According to KSL News, that’s when Walker dropped her spoon and started shrieking.

The masquerading serpent was hidden inside a can of Western Family brand green beans that Walker bought at Harmon’s, her local grocery store. Walker brought the snake head and the can back to Harmon’s, where they gave Walker a refund on all 30 cans she had purchased and notified Western Family, who has started an investigation into the matter.

Walker ins’t particularly worried about herself or her church group, but she is concerned about whoever finds the snake’s tail. “My biggest concern (was) that someone else would get the body,” she said.

Western Family green beans have been pulled from the shelves in grocery stores around Farmington, and the company plans to trace back where Walker’s can came from to try and find any other creepy crawlies that might be hiding in their canned produce. Meanwhile, Walker is just trying to get her appetite back: “I haven’t eaten much today because I still get a little queasy,” Walker said Thursday. “I could not eat last night. It was just terrible.” S-s-s-seriously.
