Swish. One of the NBA’s most legendary shooters will soon become one of its most health-minded restauranteurs: Ray Allen is set to open Grown, an organic fast-food restaurant, in South Miami.

According to the Miami Herald, Allen and his wife Shannon chose the health-food route because of their nine-year-old son Walker, who suffers from Type 1 diabetes. The Allens struggled with finding nutritious options for Walker, so they decided to create their own.

Grown will feature juices, smoothies, wraps, and sandwiches among other healthful food options. Additionally, the restaurant will have a 1,900-square-foot rooftop garden, and paper menus and kids meal packaging that you can plant.

If you think all this health food talk takes away from Grown’s status as a fast-food spot, Mr. Shuttlesworth thinks differently. Grown will have a drive-thru, take out, and all the other trappings of your favorite grab-n-go burger spots.

Grown will open next month with dishes ranging in cost from $4 to $18.
