This year, the movement for LGBT equality grew by leaps and bounds. The Supreme Court ruled that same-sex marriage was legal nationwide, and celebrity figures also stepped forward to show their support.
People have become increasingly more understanding and supportive of love amongst all people, and the food industry has taken note. Companies ranging from SKYY Vodka to Wendy’s have all lobbied in encouragement of the changes being made.
Now, Doritos wants to show its colors when it comes to LGBT rights. In a partnership with the It Gets Better Project, the chip brand has created the first-ever LGBT themed chips. The rainbow-hued chips feature the ever-popular Cool Ranch flavor with colors representing the gay pride flag.
So am I supposed to save the rainbow-colored #Doritos ? Because I’d definitely want to open it, admire the colors, and then stuff my face.

One-hundred percent of the Doritos proceeds go to the It Gets Better Project, which aims to inspire hope for young people who are lesbian, gay, bi, or trans.
