Because peanut butter and chocolate go together like peanut butter and chocolate, Ben & Jerry’s just released Peanut Butter Half Baked as a new Limited Batch flavor.

The company claims this holiday release is intended to celebrate 15 successful years of regular Half Baked, but all we heard was this:

The succinct description offered by Ben & Jerry’s is “chocolate & peanut butter ice creams mixed with gobs of peanut butter cookie dough & fudge brownies.” So basically, they switched out all the vanilla in normal Half Baked ice cream for peanut butter. We’re pretty sure that if you were still trying to figure out what dessert to bring for any holiday gathering, you’ll be covered if you can score a few pints of this.

For bonus points, get some extra Peanut Butter Half Baked and bake a loaf of ice cream bread, then serve it with scoops of PBHB on top. Your family will tell you that you’re too good to them, and you’ll have no choice but to agree.

If you’re worried about availability, try the handy Ben & Jerry’s Limited Batch Locator. Or just call the store where you usually get your B&J’s fix and ask them about it so you can face-plant with abandon this holiday season.
