Sometimes Reddit is like a humorous Wikileaks, where disgruntled employees can anonymously post things like a list of words they are no longer allowed to use at work. Redditor Mausar posted the image below with this simple preamble: “I work at Chick-fil-a and Eric, our manager, is tired of our shit.”

Some of the offending words are your bog standard slang, such as bae, bruh, fool, chill, and turn up. Others have explanations that make his millennial employees sound like people I want to hang out with.

Ebola (stop accusing people of having ebola)

About a week ago (unless we’re talking about what happened a week ago, but there will be no singing or dancing to go along with that phrase)

Sometimes Eric just seems straight up infuriated by what he doesn’t understand.

Barely (say it without the weird voice)

Felicia (there is nobody here named Felicia)

But behind that Grinch-y grammarian facade, we’re sensing that Eric is actually hurting because he’s not in on the jokes and banter. Unfortunately we can’t ask him whether his aggression is just a mask for his desire to be included, because the Redditor declined to mention any specifics about the restaurant.

Chick-fil-A has yet to confirm or deny the existence of a lonely, list-writing manager. Also, vigilant netizens have pointed out that an identical list was allegedly created by a teacher to ban slang in school.
