Columbus Day is kind of awesome—particularly if you get off work. But this somewhat-negligible holiday just got a lot more awesome.

This Monday, October 13, the Madison Square Park location of Shack Shack will be offering a limited-edition Massimo Bottura burger.

The Emilia ($8.95), crafted by the avant-garde Italian chef and named after the Emilia-Romagna region of Italy, features a Pat LaFrieda beef patty ground with parmigiano reggiano, topped with cotechino sausage, salsa verde, and Villa Manodori balsamic mayonnaise (made with Chef Bottura’s Villa Manodori Artigianale balsamic vinegar from Trebbiano grapes grown in Italy, in case you were wondering). Only 1,000 of The Emilia burgers will be served.

Why should you be excited, besides the fact that The Emilia looks all kinds of delicious? Bottura has a Michelin 3-Star restaurant, Osteria Francescana, in Modena Italy, and Mario Batali once called him “the Jimi Hendrix of Italian chefs.” Serious street cred right there.

October 13 also marks the last day the Madison Square Park Shake Shack, which celebrated its 10th anniversary this past June. The Shack will be shuttering temporarily for renovations, and is slated to re-open mid 2015. Lucky for you, a brand-spanking-new Shake Shack location is opening soon at Broadway and 36th Street.
