Recently, we investigated the growing trend of restaurant trailers that are used to announce major openings or menu changes. But while we focused on the “blockbusters” of the genre like Alinea and The Nomad, Eater has brought our attention to a more, uh, indie release that blows the rest out of the water.

Troy is a theme restaurant in Staten Island. Gawker confirmed that it is real, and that the commercial above is no joke. It begins with the existential question, “How many excuse do you need to eat great food?”, and only gets better from there. Please enjoy.
