Surely, you’ve started the day with a dozen oysters and a dirty gin martini. Now, onto the main event: juicy steak with golden french fries. Is it a strip steak or rib eye? Traditionally, the dish features an entrecôte (also called rib eye), pan fried rare and served with a pan reduction sauce. But, the fundamental appeal of steak and fries goes way beyond the traditional French bistro preparation.
