In an interview with Bloomberg, Boston beer mogul Jim Koch discusses the success of Samuel Adams. Boston Beer Co, Sam Adam’s parent company, is the second largest American-owned brewery. The company experienced more than 17% growth this year in an otherwise tepid beer market.

From Boston Lager to Norse Legen, Koch’s beers have a cult following all over the country. In the video, Koch discusses his beginnings selling beer from bar to bar. He talks about how he used to stick a few cold brews in each pocket of his suit jacket. He continues to do so to this day, despite his company raking in more than $128 million annually.
