News of the Hostess closure and the uncertain future of Twinkies has dominated the food-news cycle for the past week, spawning all sorts of nostalgic odes, bold proclamations about our country’s eating habits, and—inevitably—wisecracks from every opportunistic joker from the office water cooler to the Daily Show. But we have to say the only response that has truly made us cry with laughter so far is YouTube star Keith From Up Da Block’s parody track, “It’s So Hard To Say Goodbye To My Twinkies.”

Highlights include the following:

  • A photo of a Twinkie going into a casket.
  • The indelible line “No homo but I eat Ding Dongs.”
  • Watching Keith’s face when he hits those Boyz II Men–style falsetto notes.

If you’re wondering why you haven’t seen any posts in a couple hours, it’s because going down the rabbit hole of this dude’s other mock music videos has killed the entire afternoon. He is basically the Weird Al Yankovic of food rap. Here are some of our other favorites from his brilliant ouvre:

Meek Mill “Amen” parody about fast food and fried chicken

“Chicken Noodle Soup” spoof about chicken cheesesteaks

“Lunchtime,” a parody of Nas’ “Halftime”

An old-school rap ode to Capriotti’s sandwiches
