Today is Veteran’s Day, and plenty of food and drink companies are doing their part to celebrate the brave men and women of our nation’s military.

Jim Beam is running a social media project called The Grand Salute, where people send photos of themselves saluting as a sign of respect for veterans. The brand has also “partnered with Operation Homefront to provide emergency assistance to the U.S. military, the families they leave behind, and wounded warriors when they return home. For 2012 Jim Beam has pledged to donate $25,000 to Operation Homefront.”
