Andy Hull and Kevin Devine of the indie rock band Bad Books share their preferred dining destinations in the latest installment of “Friday Fives”—a recurring feature brought to us by the NYC-based blog Immaculate Infatuation.

Despite the genre attached to them, the band defies strict definition. Rolling Stones the group’s “Forest Whitaker” redolent of Prince’s “Raspberry Beret,” prompting them to write “it’s easy to forget that the band isn’t a rap group.”

For their “Friday Fives,” they each gave their go-to restaurant picks in categories as “Date Night,” “Chronic Brunch,” and “Dining Solo.”

Devine repped NYC, naming Southside Coffee, Fonda, Peppino’s, Anthony’s, and Dice Thai. Coming from Atlanta, Andy listed Pampas Steakhouse, Egg Harbor, Adobo, Publix Deli, and Rathbun’s.
