This is so much better than gifting a Starbucks gift card.

You could get your dad a fancy cocktail set or a Maybach for Christmas—but that’s kind of typical. You could also get your family member or loved one a rescued animal from Farm Sanctuary’s Adopt a Farm Animal Program. Whoever you gift this to won’t actually receive the animal in the mail or anything, but your sponsorship will create happy endings for farm animals that have been abused.

Each sponsorship comes with a personal sponsorship certificate, a color photograph, a decal, and a VIP tour to meet your sponsored animal at one of three Farm Sanctuary shelter locations. But the real win here is that your gift sponsorship will help provide food, shelter, and care for a rescued cow, sheep, goat, pig, duck, goose, turkey, or chicken. We don’t blame you if all your other gift ideas suddenly seem stupid.

Monthly sponsorships range from $10 to $50, quarterly sponsorships range from $30 to $600, and annual sponsorships range from $120 to $2,400.
