On March 15, Brangelina Jolie-Pitt will release a 2012 vintage pink rosé, People reports. Sharing credit with French winegrower Marc Perrin, the couple will use the vino to mark their entry into the wine-production game. They have owned a 1,000-acre wine estate known as Château Miraval, located in the Provençal wine valley, for four years.
The rosé will be the first among a slew of organic red and white wines set to be sold under the label named after their estate. On Miraval, the estate, there are “75 acres dedicated to the cultivation of Syrah and Cabernet Sauvignon grapes operated in accordance with organic farming.” A review of the rosé will appear in an upcoming issue of Wine Spectator.
Let’s wait to see how it does in a side-by-side tasting against Guy Fieri’s grapes.
