Snoop Dogg may be the Doggfather—releasing over a dozen albums since the 1990s, executive-producing the new MTV stoner comedy, Mary + Jane, and starring in a new VH1 series with Martha Stewart—but Beyoncé will forever be the Queen, and whatever she does must be followed.

Earlier this week, Snoop spoke with Rolling Stone about his partnership with Martha (already, their show has guest like DJ Khaled, 50 Cent, and Fat Joe on board), but the conversation began with details about his latest album, Coolaid. Though the record was pretty much a flop, pushing just 10,000 copies in its first week, Snoop freely admitted that he got the whole  refreshing-beverage-turned-visual-album concept from 'Yonce.

"I watched Lemonade and was like, ‘Damn.’ The music is dope, and the visuals are fly as fuck. But I don't drink lemonade; I drink Kool-Aid,” he explained. “So I decided to call my shit Coolaid, since I brought so much flavor to the game, and I'm what they consider one of the coolest motherfuckers in hip-hop and life in general. I made a visual album too."

It's gotta be a nice feeling to call yourself "one of the coolest motherfuckers in life in general" and not sound the least bit ridiculous. After dishing on his love of flavored drink mixes, Snoop went on to talk about his other favorite subject: weed.

“[You can expect] a little bit of food, drinkin' and maybe some of that sticky-icky in the—depends on the network!” he said of the VH1 show. But when Rolling Stone asked the rapper if he got Martha stoned on set, Snoop demurred. "I'll tell you on the show,” he said.

Stoned or not, we'll be tuning in.
