Before the NFL season even got underway, the New York Giants’ Odell Beckham Jr. found himself in the news after Lena Dunham made some ill-advised comments about the wide receiver icing her out at this year’s Met Gala.“I was sitting next to Odell Beckham Jr., and it was so amazing because it was like he looked at me and he determined I was not the shape of a woman by his standards,” Dunham told Amy Schumer.

Dunham received widespread criticism in the wake of her comments. But, if there’s one thing Beckham Jr. and the Girls creator even have a chance of agreeing on, it’s probably a shared love of cold brew.

Earlier this week, in a new spot for Dunkin' Donuts, the Louisiana-raised ballplayer could be seen sitting behind a piano, playing a few mournful chords on the keyboard before spitting bars about the trendy cold water extract.

“Runnin’ on the cold brew, runnin’ on the cold, run-runnin’ on the cold brew,” Beckham Jr. raps. “Cold brewin’, that’s what I’m doin’.”

Will Odell Beckham Jr. win a Super Bowl or a Grammy first?
