Bartenders David Kaplan and Alex Day built their reputation with a particularly sexy unmarked door and elaborate cocktail list at the now legendary East Village bar Death & Co.

Since opening Death & Co in 2006, these insatiable scenemakers have parlayed their success with Death & Co. into a multi-faceted consulting company, through which they’ve advised on and overseen ground-up projects in New York, Los Angeles, Jackson Hole, and Mumbai.

Today marks the release of the Death & Co teams new cookbook, Death & Co: Modern Classic Cocktails, featuring “recipes for nearly 500 iconic drinks.” If you like what you see in the book’s teaser trailer above, go get your hands on a copy. The book tour (which launches today at NYC’s Bowery Hotel) will feature takeovers of the top bars in 10 cities across the U.S. Tickets to the events can be purchased on Eventbrite.
