New Holland Teams Up With Carhartt for the Latest Menswear-Craft Beer Collabo
The Carhartt Woodsman will be available wherever New Holland brews are sold in October.
Last year, we told you about Patagonia and New Belgium’s California Route lager, a collaborative beer made to mark the outdoor-clothing company’s 40th anniversary.
Now, two revered Michigan companies—workwear manufacturer Carhartt and O.G. brewery New Holland—have teamed up to create a bourbon barrel-aged session beer called The Carhartt Woodsman. Beer Street Journal has the details:
This beer is not only a celebration of Carhartt’s 125th anniversary, it’s first and foremost a salute to hard-working men and women who deserve a refreshing reward after a long day’s work,” said Tony Ambroza, senior vice president of marketing at Carhartt. “A flavorful Carhartt ale from an authentic partner like New Holland is the perfect way to honor our consumers and the hard work they do each day.”
At just 4.4% ABV, the pale ale is designed to be easy-going without sacrificing flavor; in addition to being aged in oak barrels, it’s also packed with local, Michigan-grown Cascade hops. The Carhartt Woodsman will come in six-packs of 12-ounce bottles and sold wherever you usually find your New Holland brews.
What’s next? Maybe North Coast Brewing can hook up with North Face. This time, thought, we’d some fleeces in addition to the beer.
