According to a new report released by the Brewer’s Association, American craft beer exports are on the rise. According to a survey, craft beer export volumes were up 49% in 2013 amounting to $73 million in revenue and 282,526 barrels of beer.
Canada remained the industry’s largest export market, with shipments increasing 92 percent by volume (up to 131,511 barrels) in 2013. Shipments to Western Europe increased 46%, but the real growth was in Asia. In Hong Kong, exports were up 150%, and in Singapore they’re up a whopping 379%. Let’s hear it for American craft beer!
