Evil Twin Brewing’s Jeppe Jarnit-Bjergsø recently unveiled Lil B, an Imperial porter that contains notes Beer Advocate reviewers have alternately likened to chocolate, blood orange, and caramel.

It’s unconfirmed whether the Dane turned Brooklynite brewer is a fan of provocateur rap or he’s just giving a shoutout to a homie by the same name. (Real talk: Jarnit-Bjergsø once called a vanilla-noted batch Soft Dookie after his baby son’s diaper dealings so really anything is possible.) A few lines that fail to count as a couplet sit to the side of the label and you can almost see it as a tribute to the Based God:

Shall one compare thee to a fair beer,
Not even this perfect porter before thou will do thee justice.
Thou art more complex, brave and cunning.
Thou have changed more than a brew will ever.
Thou may be lil’, but thy mind is greater than words can speak and beer will ever taste.

Almost. With Lil B at 11.5% ABV each though, you’d attempt quatrains too.
